FUNCTIONAL NEUROLOGICAL REHABILITATION ROUNDS - PART 2 - NEU 919 is a continuation of NEU 918 and again is considered one of two "capstone" courses in our neurology program. This module is taught by Dr. Michael Longyear of the Life University Functional Neurology Center. Dr. Longyear will call upon prior learned concepts in his discussion of the evaluation and management of the patient with functional neuologic dysfunction. Patient evaluation and formulation of a neurorehabilitation regimen for each individual patient will be discussed. This course is a "rounds" based class with case-based presentations and learner participation. Dr. Longyear will present a multitude of cases ranging from TBI, movement disoders, ADD/HD and ASD, as well as many more. This class is an exciting time for learners to assimilate the previously learned material into a rational, evidenced-based functional neuro rehabilitation protocol.
