PATHOLOGY OF THE CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM - NEU 903 (March 20-21, 2027) is a very comprehensive study of neoplasia and infection of the central and peripheral nervous systems. Most patients with dysfunction of the nervous system do not possess ablative pathological lesions such as tumor or infection, however, the chiropractic neurologist must be fully versed in recognizing those patients with dysfunction versus ablative disease. This module is a cornerstone of neurological diagnosis and is of utmost importance as one determines which patients are amenable to functional neurorehabilitation versus aggressive medical management. Past students have noted that this module had a major positive impact on their Diplomate examination scores in the area of neuropathology.
