THE FUNCTIONAL NEUROLOGIC EXAMINATION - NEU 902 The Neurologic Examination is covered in detail in this course. Practical approaches to patients with dysfunction and pathology of the nervous system will be emphasized. An introduction to examination of the pediatric and geriatric patient will also be performed. Functional evaluation of the oculomotor system, cerebellum, and vestibular systems will be addressed due their significance in the evaluation and management of patients with functional neurologic deficits. Emphasis is placed on the correlation of exam findings as they pertain to the implementation of brain-based neurorehabilitation.
