EDX 9 - Case Reviews, Interpretive reporting, and coding/reimbursement. This course is a capstone course in the edx program in that it is designed to synchronize all past technical and cognitive learning from the course in an effort to formulate interpretive reports of edx studies. Multiple case studies will be used and sent to the learner prior to the course session such that the learner can prepare case interpretations prior to the class. The cases are reviewed in class and discussed at length. This course is a popular module with past learners as they say it begins to "tie it all together" for them with respect to formulating case interpretations. The practical business model aspects of edx as well as coding and reimbursement issues are discussed in detail.
