EDX 8 - Introduction to Evoked Potentials and Intraoperative Neuromonitoring. This course is an introduction to evoked potentials (EP). Clinical applications and techniques of somatosensory evoked potentials, brainstem auditory evoked potentials, and visual evoked potentials will be discussed in detail. An introduction to intraoperative neuromonitoring will also be discussed and described in significant detail. Many state boards are now requiring all practitioners to show evidence of training in EPs in order to practice edx in their jurisdiction. Additonally, the Internatioanl Board of Electrodiagnosis (IBE) requires EP training as a requirement to meet board examination requirements.
