EDX 3 - Neuropathy, Radiculopathy and Polyneuropathy of the Lower Limb. Module 3 is a didactic lecture series which entails an overview of the neuromuscular anatomy of the lower limb. Mononeuropathies of the lower limb, although less frequent than the upper, will be discussed. Polyneuropathy is emphasized in this course due to it's length-dependent aspects and predilection for the lower limb. Emphasis on diabetic polyneuropathy is provided due to it's increase in frequency in patient populations. An overview of lower extremity nerve conduction study techniques is provided in preparation for mod 6 and 7 (Lab 1 and 2).
